A Harrogate-based fashion label, Luce and Bear, has been named the winner of the Best Women’s Style in Yorkshire category at the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Awards.
This recognition is part of a nationwide celebration of independent businesses, honoring those that showcase creativity, innovation, and community spirit. The awards drew over 500,000 nominations and votes across 21 lifestyle categories, and Luce and Bear stood out for its distinct contributions to women’s fashion.
Luce and Bear has carved a niche in the fashion world with its meaningful, quirky approach to clothing. Their unisex garments combine comfort and playfulness with thoughtful narratives, resonating deeply with their growing audience.
A standout piece in their collection, the Healing Hoodie, features the SOS (Story of Sisters) print, which draws inspiration from co-founder Lucy’s personal journey with Lyme Disease. This deeply personal design has helped the brand foster a loyal and supportive community.
Co-founder Clare Bulmer expressed her gratitude, saying, “This award is huge for our small business and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the local support.”
Following their regional win, Luce and Bear will now compete in the national finals. The overall winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 25.
