A$AP Rocky playfully called out Rihanna for raiding his wardrobe after the couple announced they’re expecting their third child. The rapper, who co-chaired this year’s Met Gala, humorously lamented his partner’s fashion theft in a candid interview on the event’s iconic steps.
At the May 5 Met Gala in New York City, Rocky—real name Rakim Mayers—joked with Variety about Rihanna’s habit of borrowing his most prized clothing. “She’s a f–king thief, man,” he quipped on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s grand staircase. “I’m gonna get her back, though.”
The 36-year-old, who stunned in an all-black AWGE suit paired with a dramatic Mammot-inspired coat and diamond-studded accessories, teased that Rihanna’s closet raids are relentless. “She be stealing all my favorite pieces, and I gotta go steal it back,” he said, though he admitted keeping track is impossible. “It’s too much to remember.”
But Rocky quickly turned sentimental, adding, “I already stole her heart, so I think I got enough.” The couple, who share sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months, recently confirmed their third pregnancy, a secret they were “tired of holding.”
“It feels amazing,” Rocky told the Associated Press. “We were ready to show the world what we’ve been cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us—we’re definitely happy.”
The lighthearted exchange underscored the couple’s enduring chemistry, blending humor with heartfelt moments at fashion’s biggest night.
