After a triumphant debut last year, Victoria Leeds Fashion Week (VLFW) 2025 is making a dazzling return with an expanded programme that promises to be more glamorous and engaging than ever. From May 31 to June 8, the prestigious fashion event will bring together high-end labels, premium high-street favourites, and fashion lovers for an unforgettable week packed with curated experiences, creative activations, and inspiring moments.
Following the massive success of the 2024 runway show — a sell-out spectacle that hosted over 200 guests and attracted more than 79,000 online viewers — this year’s event is set to reach new heights of style and sophistication. Victoria Leeds is once again cementing its reputation as the North’s premier destination for luxury fashion and trendsetting showcases.
Opening the week in vibrant style on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, award-winning personal stylist and colour analyst Laura Fawcett will be on hand to deliver complimentary taster colour analysis sessions. These interactive appointments will help shoppers discover the hues that enhance their natural features and build wardrobe confidence.
On Tuesday, June 3, fashion meets empowerment at the Ageless Style Fashion Brunch, hosted in partnership with The Cut & Craft restaurant and Midlife Magic. The event will feature inspiring conversations with midlife models and style experts Rachel Peru, Bernadette Gledhill, and Annie Stirk, joined by television presenter Christine Talbot. Guests can expect engaging discussions on personal style evolution, wardrobe tips, beauty insights, and overcoming fashion faux pas with confidence and flair.
The week’s main event, a glittering catwalk show, takes place on Thursday, June 5, promising a show-stopping celebration of spring/summer fashion. Hosted by broadcast journalist and Style Arcades podcast presenter Michelle Eagleton, the event will feature curated looks from over 20 top Victoria Leeds retailers. Attendees can expect bold trends, refined tailoring, and effortlessly chic ensembles that set the tone for the season.
Following the catwalk, the style party continues upstairs at Harvey Nichols’ 4th Floor Brasserie with an exclusive after-party, complete with a live DJ, drinks, and delicious canapés for guests to enjoy well into the night.
From Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, visitors can step into the VL Shop-the-Looks Style Lounge for a weekend of hands-on style guidance. Expert stylists will offer complimentary one-on-one consultations, providing practical advice on how to incorporate runway-inspired outfits into everyday wardrobes and make the most of the latest seasonal trends.
Jo Coburn, Victoria Leeds Centre Director, expressed excitement over the event’s return:
“We’re thrilled to welcome back Victoria Leeds Fashion Week – bigger and more stylish than ever! Our highly anticipated, award-winning fashion show will take centre stage again, showcasing the newest summer trends and must-have pieces from our premium brands.
We’re pulling out all the stops this year to bring a jam-packed week full of stylish activations and a few surprises, along with a special charity fashion pop-up from Smart Works Leeds. There’s something for every style lover and it’s going to be an unforgettable celebration of fashion at its finest.”
This year’s fashion week proudly supports Smart Works Leeds, a UK charity that empowers unemployed women with coaching, wardrobe essentials, and confidence-building tools to help them secure employment.
Throughout the week, Smart Works will host a charity pop-up in Victoria Gate, featuring new and pre-loved designer and premium high-street items. Proceeds from both fashion show ticket sales and pop-up purchases will support the charity’s vital work in helping women achieve independence through meaningful employment.
To mark the launch of Fashion Week, visitors shopping in Victoria Leeds on May 31 or June 1 and spending £20 or more in-store will receive a complimentary, personalised VLFW tote bag — a stylish keepsake for fashion fans. Meanwhile, starting June 6, the official VLFW Magazine will be available, featuring expert styling advice, accessory highlights, and must-have looks curated to inspire shoppers throughout the season.
Victoria Leeds Fashion Week 2025 promises to be an unmissable celebration of fashion, empowerment, and community spirit. With standout events, charitable impact, and personal styling opportunities, it’s a week designed for fashion lovers who want more than just the latest trends — they want connection, creativity, and purpose in every outfit.
