by Demos

Victoria Leeds is preparing to welcome back its highly anticipated Fashion Week, following the resounding success of its debut last year. The 2025 edition of Victoria Leeds Fashion Week (VLFW) promises to be even more spectacular, offering an expanded celebration of fashion that showcases the centre’s range of luxury labels and premium high-street brands.

Scheduled from Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 8, the event will unfold over a week-long series of curated experiences. Fashion enthusiasts can expect an exciting lineup of exclusive events, immersive in-store activations, and personalized styling moments, all culminating in the highly awaited catwalk show that stands as the pinnacle of the festivities.

Last year’s fashion show was a standout success, selling out entirely and drawing over 200 guests in person while reaching a digital audience of more than 79,000 via live stream. Building on this momentum, this year’s show is set to deliver even greater levels of glamour, creativity, and inspiration, further establishing Victoria Leeds as a leading destination for high-end fashion experiences in the region.

The event kicks off with vibrant flair on the opening weekend, May 31 and June 1, when award-winning personal stylist and colour analyst Laura Fawcett hosts complimentary taster colour analysis sessions. These sessions aim to help shoppers identify the shades that enhance their natural features and boost confidence, adding a personal touch to the week’s fashion offerings.

As the week progresses, fashion takes on a refreshing perspective with the Ageless Style Fashion Brunch on Tuesday, June 3. Co-hosted by The Cut and Craft restaurant and the platform Midlife Magic, the brunch will feature midlife models and style influencers Rachel Peru, Bernadette Gledhill, and Annie Stirk. TV personality Christine Talbot will join them in discussing personal style, fashion insights, beauty tips, and navigating fashion at any age in a lively and empowering conversation.

The centrepiece of the week arrives on Thursday, June 5 with the dazzling fashion show hosted by Michelle Eagleton, a broadcast journalist and presenter of the Victoria Leeds Style Arcades podcast. The runway event promises to showcase the latest summer collections from the centre’s top brands. Following the main event, guests will be welcomed to an exclusive after-party at the 4th Floor Brasserie in Harvey Nichols, complete with a live DJ, drinks, and canapés—ensuring the celebration continues well into the evening.

Jo Coburn, Centre Director at Victoria Leeds, expressed her excitement for the upcoming festivities, noting that the team is going above and beyond to make this year’s Fashion Week unforgettable. She emphasized the return of the award-winning catwalk show and the wide range of stylish activities, surprises, and brand experiences planned throughout the week. She also highlighted a special charity pop-up from Smart Works Leeds, further tying fashion to purpose.

As in previous years, Victoria Leeds Fashion Week will proudly support Smart Works Leeds, a charity dedicated to helping unemployed women by providing them with coaching, clothing, and the confidence needed to secure employment. This partnership reinforces the event’s broader mission—not only to celebrate fashion and style but to uplift and empower women in meaningful ways.
