Amity University Mumbai’s School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) made a striking impression at the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2025 by presenting its artistic fashion collection titled ‘SWARA – The Melody of Threads’. The show featured 38 unique garments meticulously designed by students, drawing inspiration from the harmony of the seven musical notes. Each creation embodied one of seven distinct themes, blending sculpted silhouettes and fluid drapes with detailed embroidery and contemporary cuts, representing a creative union of tradition and modern innovation.
The glamorous runway show opened with popular TV personality Akriti Negi, while Neel Samarth Motwani and Parinitaa Seth added star power as showstoppers. Adding to the vibrancy, Amity’s own models Esha Velankar and Nakul Mukhi walked the ramp with poise and charisma, capturing the audience’s attention.
‘SWARA’ was not just a fashion showcase but a cultural celebration, emphasizing ASFT’s mission of preserving India’s rich artisanal heritage while embracing the futuristic vision of fashion.
