Fendi is set to continue its coed runway format with the unveiling of its Spring 2026 collection in September, as reported by WWD. This decision follows the success of the brand’s coed Fall 2025 presentation during Milan Fashion Week in February. The move also confirms that the Roman fashion house will skip the upcoming Milan Men’s Fashion Week scheduled for June.
The upcoming September showcase will serve as a key part of Fendi’s ongoing 100th anniversary celebrations. Silvia Venturini Fendi, who remains at the creative helm as artistic director of menswear and accessories, will once again oversee the design of the full collection. Her leadership mirrors the approach taken for the February coed presentation.
Fendi has yet to appoint a successor to Kim Jones, who stepped down in October after serving as the brand’s womenswear and couture designer for four years. The fashion house has stated that the announcement of a new creative director will be made “in due time.”
Prior to the February 2025 show, Fendi had only previously combined its menswear and womenswear on the runway once before, during the Spring 2021 season. The decision to merge both lines once again underlines the house’s evolving presentation strategy during a significant milestone year.
The September show will also coincide with the opening of Fendi’s new flagship boutique on Via Montenapoleone in Milan. This new location will feature four retail floors and an additional two floors that will host a new Langosteria restaurant, adding a culinary dimension to the brand’s luxury experience.
While the official date and time for the Spring 2026 show have not yet been disclosed, anticipation continues to build for what is expected to be a highlight of Milan Fashion Week and a defining moment in Fendi’s centennial year.
