On April 22, Cruz Vintage Black Vodka hosted a glamorous event at The Forum in Hyde Park Corner to mark the launch of SA Fashion Week. The evening welcomed media personalities and content creators who were immersed in an atmosphere of quiet luxury. The space was transformed with velvet tones, dimmed chandeliers, and smooth sounds, evoking the essence of New York while maintaining a distinct local flair.
The event set the stage for what promises to be an exciting and forward-thinking Fashion Week, with a focus on collaborative networks and the pursuit of a sustainable fashion future for South Africa. From April 24 to 26, The Forum will host the Spring/Summer 2025 Collections, featuring a diverse lineup of designers and shows. Over the course of three days, the event will present 24 collections through seven shows, showcasing some of the country’s most talented fashion minds.
Among the distinguished guests at the launch were author and entrepreneur Katie Mohamed, actor Khaya Dladla, and content creator Itumeleng, who added their star power to the evening. Radio personality Kamo Moth, former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert, and designer duo House of Cairo were also in attendance, alongside TV personalities KNaomi Phakathi, Kim Jayde, and Kayise Nqula. This year’s Fashion Week promises to be an exhilarating celebration of South Africa’s fashion industry, with a focus on both creativity and sustainability.
