Menswear retailer Charles Tyrwhitt has officially signed a lease for a new headquarters at The Forge, a flagship office development by Landsec, located in London’s Bankside district.
The brand will occupy 18,680 square feet of space within the building and will move its 240-person head office team into the premises. With this latest agreement, only two office units — totaling 17,000 square feet — remain available for lease at the development.
Oliver Knight, Head of Workplace at Landsec, commented on the significance of the move:
“The Forge is proving that sustainability and commercial appeal go hand in hand. These latest lettings, led by Charles Tyrwhitt’s head office relocation, highlight the growing importance organisations are placing on net zero buildings that provide exceptional working environments whilst also supporting long-term corporate environmental goals. The Forge sets a new standard for workspaces, attracting ambitious businesses with its excellent amenities, transport connections, and sustainability focus.”
Luke Kingsnorth, CEO of Charles Tyrwhitt, echoed this sentiment:
“The Forge is the perfect fit for the future of Charles Tyrwhitt – combining sustainability, design excellence and an unbeatable location fits perfectly with our culture and values. Relocating our head office here supports both our ambition to provide an outstanding workplace for our people and environmental commitments. We’re proud to be part of a development that reimagines exceptional office space.”
The move represents a strategic step for Charles Tyrwhitt as it aligns its operational footprint with broader sustainability and corporate responsibility goals, while securing a prime London location that supports both staff wellbeing and business growth.
