AW2025 Beijing Fashion Week wrapped up in spectacular fashion with a grand finale show curated by independent French designer Irakli Nasidzé. The show, which merged pioneering philosophy with exquisite craftsmanship, featured a runway adorned with bronze and sancai artifacts created by Irakli and Qiao Qi, a Chinese artist based in France. These artifacts transformed the runway into a living museum, setting a unique and immersive atmosphere for the models.
This year’s event showcased the global influence of fashion, with renowned designers and brands from China, France, Italy, Korea, and Georgia participating. Notably, the KIDS WEAR sector made its debut at Beijing Fashion Week, marking a significant expansion of the event’s scope. Additionally, for the first time, 50 Beijing shopping malls collaborated with the event, rolling out sales promotions and promoting a sustainable “Fashion Week” model.
A groundbreaking aspect of the event was the integration of virtual fashion designers and artists who blended fashion with technology, redefining industry boundaries and showcasing the future of fashion.
2025 also marks the 10th anniversary of Beijing Fashion Week. Through continuous innovation and collaborative efforts, the event has significantly contributed to Beijing’s ambition to become a global fashion city, while accelerating the growth of China’s fashion industry.
