Slick Chicks, a female-founded adaptive apparel brand, has announced that its specialized line of undergarments for women is now available at CVS stores nationwide.
Previously launched in Target stores in 2023, the brand continues to broaden its reach in retail. In a statement released on May 19, the company expressed its intention to collaborate with more distributors to ensure adaptive clothing becomes more widely accessible in brick-and-mortar locations.
Slick Chicks designs its apparel specifically for women who face mobility challenges due to surgery, medical conditions, limb differences, disabilities, or caregiving needs. The adaptive garments are made with features that include Velcro fasteners, front zippers, moisture-wicking and antimicrobial fabrics, and tag-free designs—aimed at enhancing both comfort and ease of use.
“It’s essential that adaptive apparel is easily accessible to everyone,” said Helya Mohammadian, founder and CEO of Slick Chicks. “Adaptive clothing shouldn’t be restricted to specialty items found only online or in a few select stores.”
The current product line available at CVS includes classic and high-waist briefs, wireless zip-front bras, and front-closing bras with Velcro. The company also offers lounge wear items such as hoodies, sweatshirts, and pants.
With the expansion into CVS, Slick Chicks continues to make strides toward its goal of making inclusive fashion more mainstream and available to a broader audience.
