ADER ERROR and Converse have unveiled their third collaborative collection, centering on a bold reinterpretation of the Wave Trainer sneaker alongside a curated lineup of apparel and accessories. Dubbed “Re-found,” the partnership reimagines archival designs with a contemporary twist, blending heritage inspiration with avant-garde details. The collection launches June 26 via ADER ERROR’s webstore, followed by a global rollout through Converse, HBX, and select retailers on June 27.
Sneaker Spotlight: The Wave Trainer Reborn
The standout piece of the collaboration is the reworked Wave Trainer, drenched in ADER ERROR’s signature cobalt blue. The shoe merges retro and futuristic elements, featuring a mesh upper layered with cowhide, suede, and shaggy suede for textured contrast. Distinctive touches include an asymmetrical leather heel panel with a knotted-string detachable cover—offering two styling options—and custom eyelets paired with a hand-painted midsole. A dubrae (decorative shoelace tag) nods to ADER ERROR’s Tetris-inspired logo, reinforcing the brand’s playful yet meticulous design ethos.
Apparel and Accessories: Minimalism Meets Signature Blue
The capsule expands beyond footwear with coordinated lifestyle pieces, including a tailored blazer jacket, graphic T-shirt, and cap. Each item adheres to a muted color scheme punctuated by strategic pops of cobalt blue, a hallmark of ADER ERROR’s aesthetic. The collection balances functionality with subtle branding, appealing to both streetwear enthusiasts and minimalist devotees.
Pricing and Availability
Priced between ₩59,000 and ₩189,000 KRW (approximately $43–$139 USD), the collection will debut exclusively on ADER ERROR’s webstore on June 26. Wider releases follow on June 27 via Converse’s channels, ADER ERROR’s flagship stores, and global stockists like HBX.
This collaboration marks the latest chapter in ADER ERROR and Converse’s creative synergy, further cementing their reputation for merging unconventional design with wearable innovation.
