Carolina Castiglioni draws inspiration from her childhood summers at Forte dei Marmi—a polished beachside retreat in Tuscany she’s visited since infancy—to shape Plan C’s Spring 2026 Menswear collection with a sense of relaxed nostalgia. But this isn’t a sentimental throwback; Castiglioni’s aesthetic remains grounded in a functional, artsy, and slightly boyish sensibility. “I wanted to go easy and pop,” she said.
The collection opens with slouchy, unisex pajama sets detailed with contrast piping—an homage to the casual summer uniforms of the Castiglioni family. Practical pieces get a whimsical twist: a white poplin dress features a low waist and puffed sleeves with subtle rugby references; a crinkled nylon anorak is transformed into a dress, layered over a lace-trimmed slip. A romantic touch appears in a leather bomber with a floral intarsia on the back, while a silky skirt suit is lightly padded to hold its paper-doll shape. A flowing garden dress in sheer fabric is dotted with tiny floral crowns, adding a breezy charm.
Accessories carry the same nostalgic spirit. Petite crocheted pouches and baskets echo the raffia totes once carried by Castiglioni’s grandmother. Necklaces shaped like toy sailboats and paddle boats offer a playful, nautical touch in true Plan C fashion. Further embracing this lighthearted tone, T-shirts feature a painted flower vase—an original piece by Castiglioni herself and a preview of an upcoming homeware collaboration with Belgian design brand Serax.
Looking ahead, Plan C continues to expand. As the brand evolves, it’s establishing firmer roots—its first physical store in Milan is set to open soon.
