The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has sparked excitement over the potential expansion of her lifestyle brand As Ever into the fashion world. Following the sell-out success of its debut product launch, Meghan revealed in a May 27 interview with Fast Company that fashion could soon become part of her growing business empire.
The 43-year-old royal entrepreneur discussed the vision behind As Ever, which first captured attention with a range of curated edible goods including honey, fruit preserves, and floral sprinkles. The overwhelming response to these items has seemingly encouraged Meghan to explore new directions.
“My heart is very deeply in my home,” Meghan told the publication. “Everything comes from being rooted in the love story of your home and garden, and then you can imagine different verticals coming out of that.”
When asked directly about fashion as a potential new vertical, Meghan did not rule it out. “The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that’s an interesting space for me,” she said, fueling speculation about a clothing or accessories line under the As Ever umbrella.
This wouldn’t be Meghan’s first step into fashion. Back in 2019, she collaborated on a capsule collection of professional women’s attire to support Smart Works, a UK charity that helps unemployed women find jobs. More recently, she launched a ShopMy page to share her favorite fashion finds and accessories with followers — described by Meghan as “a handpicked and curated collection of the things I love,” with some items linked to commission-based retailers.
In her conversation with Fast Company, Meghan emphasized a thoughtful and phased approach to the brand’s future, particularly its hospitality focus. “I want to really focus on the hospitality angle of As Ever, but as we take the learnings, we can understand what the customer’s needs are seasonally,” she explained. According to Meghan, customers can expect new product announcements in early 2026, while restocks of popular items are already in the works.
Beyond her business ventures, Meghan continues to balance multiple roles. She is a devoted mother, podcast host, star of Netflix’s With Love, Meghan, and a brand founder — showing no signs of slowing down.
“If I had to write a résumé, I don’t know what I would call myself,” she reflected. “I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note. But I believe all the notes I am playing are part of the same song.”
As anticipation builds, fans and fashion enthusiasts alike are watching closely to see if Meghan’s next note will indeed strike in the fashion industry.
