Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2025 Unveils Bold Line-Up with International Debuts and Off-Calendar Surprises

by Demos

Milan Men’s Fashion Week, set to take place from June 20 to 24, 2025, is gearing up for a dynamic edition featuring 80 official appointments, including 41 presentations and 16 special events. However, only 20 runway shows are scheduled—15 of which will be live—reflecting broader industry changes.

According to Carlo Capasa, president of the Italian Chamber of Fashion, the reduced number of catwalks is due to a range of strategic decisions: some fashion houses have chosen to present their men’s collections during the upcoming women’s fashion week, others are adjusting to changes in creative direction, while some are engaging in off-schedule or international projects, including showcases outside of Milan.

Among the notable newcomers to Milan’s men’s runways are Fiorucci, Paul Smith, Setchu, and Qasimi—a London-based label with Middle Eastern roots founded in 2015 by Khalid al-Qasimi. These debuts signal a growing international interest in the Milanese fashion stage.

Indian label Outbreaklab and Caribbean brand Sgaboi, both of which participated digitally in February, will make their online debut this season. Newcomers also include Cascinelli—previously featured in the Designers for the Planet initiative—as well as Leonardovalentini, Meriisi, Rowen Rose, Uma Wang, and Vivienne Westwood.

Luxury brand Bally makes a comeback with a presentation, while denim specialist Jacob Cohën marks its 40th anniversary with a celebratory showcase.

Absent from the Milan catwalks this season is Zegna, which has opted for an exclusive show in Dubai on June 11. The decision coincides with the launch of a new local venture in the UAE.

Major fashion houses remain firmly on the Milan schedule. Dolce & Gabbana and Emporio Armani will hit the runway on Saturday, June 21, followed by Prada on Sunday. Giorgio Armani’s highly anticipated show is slated for Monday, June 23.

This season’s fashion week will be promoted through a campaign shot in Milan’s flower market—a symbolic location chosen to convey a “message of peace, the foundation of human coexistence.” The visuals, captured by photographer Giuseppe Triscari, are part of a collaborative effort with the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The campaign embraces the theme of “cultural Olympics,” celebrating the core values of the Olympic movement through fashion.

A new highlight of this edition is the inclusion of the Sozzani Foundation on Via Bovisasca, transforming its art gallery and multi-functional space into a creative hub. Designers such as David Catalan, Miguel Vieira, Pronounce, and Simon Cracker will exhibit their collections there. The space will also host presentations and cultural events featuring Cascinelli, Lessico Familiare, and MTL Studio. An exhibition titled Agglomerates is also planned, enriching the week’s artistic offerings.

Additionally, Capasa revealed ongoing negotiations for a collaborative project with Milan’s Triennale Design Museum. The initiative, focused on “fashion storytelling,” is expected to be finalized by September, further integrating fashion and design in the cultural fabric of the city.
