R|Elan® Unveils Earth Tee 7.0 on World Environment Day: Eco-Friendly Fashion That Grows Forests

To mark World Environment Day, Reliance Industries Limited’s sustainable textile brand R|Elan® has launched the much-anticipated Earth Tee 7.0, continuing its mission to merge style with environmental responsibility. Designed in collaboration with acclaimed fashion designer Namrata Joshipura, the seventh edition of this initiative goes beyond fashion—it makes a bold statement for climate action and conscious consumerism.

The 2025 Earth Tee is made from R|Elan® GreenGold™, an advanced textile created entirely from recycled PET bottles. These bottles were collected from the recently concluded Lakmé Fashion Week 2025 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre, turning waste into wearable art and demonstrating a working model of circular economy.

In a major first, the Earth Tee 7.0 will now be available for public purchase. This decision reflects the growing demand among Indian consumers for sustainable and responsible fashion choices. And the impact of each purchase goes further: every tee bought via the SankalpTaru Foundation, a well-known environmental NGO, funds the planting of three trees. This means each t-shirt isn’t just clothing—it’s a personal contribution to India’s reforestation efforts.

R|Elan® has committed to donating 100% of proceeds from Earth Tee sales to support SankalpTaru’s tree plantation drives across the country. This full-circle approach to sustainability underscores both transparency and purpose-driven retail.

Adding to its environmental innovation, the Earth Tee’s packaging transforms into a plant pot, and the tags and wrappers are embedded with seeds, allowing buyers to grow plants directly from the materials. Every element of Earth Tee 7.0 has been designed to minimize waste and give back to the Earth.

Initially available only to a select circle of eco-conscious influencers, the Earth Tee is now being offered to the general public. The launch is part of the #WearTheChange campaign, which encourages individuals to use their clothing choices as a force for good.
