The stage is set for Denver Fashion Week (DFW) Spring 2025, Colorado’s premier fashion event, returning from May 10 to 18, 2025, with eight runway shows and the highly anticipated DFW Awards. The weeklong celebration will showcase an impressive mix of both local and national designers, all unveiling their latest and boldest collections.
Among those giving audiences a preview of what’s to come were Autumn Ward, a local designer and owner of Autumn Olive Crochet, and Nikki Strickler, DFW’s Runway Producer, who recently joined FOX21’s Loving Living Local for an inside look at the upcoming season.
Strickler revealed that the Spring 2025 edition will bring fresh flair to the runway with the first-ever Swim & Resort Wear Show, while also welcoming back fan favorites like the Maximalism Show and Bridal Show. “People can expect to leave, hopefully feeling more fashion inspired,” she said, emphasizing the creative energy and diversity of styles on display this year.
One of the standout talents featured in the Maximalism Show on Wednesday, May 14, is Autumn Ward, whose crochet-based designs reflect both craftsmanship and personal expression. “Maximalism is basically wearing whatever you can imagine,” she explained. “Everything that you love can be thrown together—different textures, fabrics, colors—and making it all work.” Ward’s collection, known for its vibrant, hand-crocheted pieces, embodies this eclectic spirit and promises to light up the runway with color and creativity.
Denver Fashion Week Spring 2025 aims to celebrate fashion in all its forms—from streetwear to sustainable fashion—ensuring there’s something for every fashion lover. The shows will take place at The Brighton – A NPU Venue, located in Denver’s RiNo Art District, a creative hub perfectly suited for this cultural celebration.
Ticket prices range from $36 to $162, offering a variety of seating options including general admission, runway, and exclusive VIP experiences.
