Laura Byrne Glows at Australian Fashion Week as She Flaunts Baby Bump in Floral Dress

by Demos

Laura Byrne turned heads on Thursday during the final day of Australian Fashion Week, channeling Kim Kardashian’s iconic maternity style while proudly showcasing her baby bump. The 39-year-old Bachelor alum attended the highly anticipated Mariam Seddiq show in Sydney, seated in the front row with husband Matty ‘J’ Byrne.

Wearing a $600 floral Faroe maxi dress, Laura exuded elegance and confidence as she celebrated her pregnancy in the spotlight. The couple’s presence at the designer’s ten-year anniversary showcase, aptly titled The Decade, highlighted Laura’s growing prominence in the fashion and media scene. The show marked a significant milestone for Seddiq, known for her distinctive Prêt-à-Couture designs, and was one of the most buzzed-about events of the week.

Inside the Carriageworks venue, Laura posed for both solo and couple portraits, lovingly cradling her growing bump. Matty kept it classic in an all-black ensemble that perfectly complemented Laura’s statement look without overshadowing it.

The couple recently revealed they are expecting their third child—a girl. The gender announcement took place on live radio during Laura’s KIIS FM show The Pick Up on April 30. The moment came after Laura sliced into a gender reveal cake to discover layers of pink icing inside.

“It’s a girl!” Laura exclaimed with joy, prompting co-host Brittany Hockley to express her surprise and excitement. Matty chimed in humorously, questioning, “Am I capable of producing boys?” before adding, “Let’s go again. Let’s go for a fourth.” Laura responded with heartfelt gratitude: “We’re so lucky to have three little girls—and three little sisters, it’s going to be amazing.” Matty concluded by sharing, “I love being a girl dad.”

Laura first shared news of her pregnancy on her podcast Life Uncut, which she co-hosts with Brittany Hockley. “It turns out, we’re having baby number three!” she announced. Now 18 weeks along, she is just shy of the halfway mark of her pregnancy.

She revealed that she discovered the pregnancy early—not due to symptoms, but because of a friend’s comment that prompted her to take a test. At the time, Matty was filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa. Laura chose to keep the news to herself until he returned, avoiding telling him during the show’s finale due to timing complications.

On his own podcast, Two Doting Dads, Matty shared his side of the story: “[It’s] an October baby. We were trying before I went into the jungle. The plan was, we said this year 2025, if we were going to have a third, this will be the year that it happens.”

Laura and Matty already share two daughters: Marlie-Mae, born in 2019, and Lola, born in 2021. The couple met on The Bachelor Australia in 2017 and announced their engagement in April 2019.

Now, with baby number three on the way, Laura continues to balance motherhood, media work, and high-profile appearances—proving that maternity style and media savvy can go hand in hand.
