Anticipation continues to build ahead of the grand opening of the Cotswolds Designer Outlet, as two more global fashion giants—Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger—have officially joined the shopping destination’s already impressive lineup. The multi-million-pound retail project is currently the only major new designer outlet set to launch in the UK in 2025, with its opening scheduled for July.
Retail operations manager Multi-Realm announced the addition of the two iconic brands, enhancing a diverse mix that already includes fashion, athleisure, beauty, homewares, and food and beverage offerings. Existing brands such as BOSS, M&S, Adidas, Levi’s, and GUESS will be joined by a range of others still to be revealed in the coming weeks, reinforcing the outlet’s status as a premier retail destination.
The Cotswolds Designer Outlet is the result of a partnership between regional developer and investor Robert Hitchins Ltd and Multi-Realm, who have worked together to secure and deliver the first phase of the shopping centre’s retail lineup. Simon Tothill, property and development director at Robert Hitchins, described the inclusion of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger as a significant addition. He noted that this phase marks a critical milestone as the project transitions into shop-fit preparations by individual retailers. Tothill emphasized that the near fully-let status of the retail spaces signals strong confidence from brands that recognize the potential of this contemporary, Cotswolds-inspired outlet concept.
As the handover process to retailers progresses, teams across consulting, contracting, and operational functions are collaborating intensively to finalize the details. The outlet is being positioned not only as a shopping centre but as a destination capable of attracting visitors from across the region and beyond, offering a full-day experience in a well-designed, immersive retail environment.
In addition to Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, brands like Rituals, Tefal, The Perfume Shop, and ProCook are actively preparing their spaces. The outlet will also feature a wide range of food and beverage options including Wagamama, Five Guys, Zizzi, Pret a Manger, and Caffè Nero. Local favorite KNEAD Bakery is also set to open its first outlet branch as part of the launch.
The momentum behind the success of Phase One has led to an acceleration of Phase Two planning, with Robert Hitchins and Multi-Realm now preparing to expand the retail footprint by approximately 50,000 square feet. Christine Grace, leasing director at Multi-Realm, highlighted the strong brand interest as evidence of the outlet’s premium positioning and destination appeal. She stated that the inclusion of world-class names reflects the high standard and elevated shopping experience being created at the site.
With construction nearing completion and retailers beginning their fit-outs, the Cotswolds Designer Outlet is set to redefine modern outlet shopping in the UK, blending world-renowned brands with the charm and draw of one of the country’s most beloved regions.
