The mother of the woman who wore an “inappropriate” dress to the Kentucky Derby has gone viral on social media following an emotional Mother’s Day post.
Gabriela Moura, an influencer with nearly three million followers, became the talk of social media after her controversial outfit at the Kentucky Derby last weekend. The dress, which some deemed inappropriate, garnered attention, with Moura attributing the reaction to her figure.
“Girls with big boobs, there’s no way to hide it, like honestly,” Moura explained. “There are so many dresses I love, but if I wore them, people would say, ‘Wow, she’s vulgar.’ But I can’t do anything about my boobs, and I don’t want people to misunderstand and think I’m complaining—I’m not.”
The conversation took a heartwarming turn on Sunday when Moura’s mom went viral for her touching Mother’s Day post. Sharing a memory from a few years ago, she wrote, “The greatest love!” on her Instagram page, celebrating the bond with her daughter.
Moura’s mom quickly became a trending topic, too, with Moura expressing how much she admires her in a post, saying, “I have the prettiest mom ever.”
Meanwhile, the Kentucky Derby organizers are emphasizing that while there is no strict dress code, they encourage attendees to dress to impress.
